Mental Health Policy
Our Commitment
At CosmoStore, we recognize the importance of mental health alongside physical health in ensuring overall well-being. We are committed to supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of our employees and customers through comprehensive policies and supportive practices.
Purpose
This policy aims to promote mental health awareness, reduce workplace stigma related to mental health issues, and provide support systems for those who may experience mental health challenges.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees of CosmoStore, including full-time, part-time, and contract workers.
Policy Elements
Mental Health Awareness
We strive to increase awareness and understanding of mental health issues through regular informational sessions and resources available to all employees.
Educational materials on mental health are provided to all new hires as part of the onboarding process.
Support Services
Employees have access to a confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which offers counseling services by professionals trained to handle various mental health issues.
We offer several mental health days per year, which employees can take without providing a medical certificate, to ensure mental rest and recovery.
Workplace Practices
We promote a work-life balance by encouraging flexible working hours and remote work options where job functions permit.
Management and supervisory staff are trained to recognize signs of mental distress and how to approach and support staff experiencing mental health challenges.
Anti-Stigma Efforts
CosmoStore is committed to creating a stigma-free environment where mental health issues are not met with discrimination.
We ensure that all communications about mental health are respectful and supportive, emphasizing that mental health issues are not a sign of weakness.
Crisis Management
Procedures are in place to address mental health crises, including immediate response protocols and guidance on accessing professional help.
Contacts and resources for local mental health services are readily available and communicated regularly to staff.
Regular Review
Our Mental Health Policy is reviewed annually to adapt to new mental health findings and feedback from employees to improve our practices.
Reporting Concerns
Employees are encouraged to speak openly with their supervisors or Human Resources if they are facing mental health challenges. All discussions will be handled sensitively and confidentially.
Feedback
CosmoStore actively seeks feedback from our employees on how to improve our mental health support. Suggestions can be directed to HR or submitted anonymously through our internal feedback system.
